Dear Members, IAoY committee is excited to conduct its first FUN event for 2018 as announced earlier:

The IAOY Badminton Tournament

The event format and registration rules are noted below. Along with competition this is also a FUN event, and we look forward to your support & participation. The winners will receive trophies and attractive prizes.

Please come forward and ENROLL in big numbers.

When & Where:

• Day – Saturday, March 10th

• Time – 2:00 PM onward

• Venue – Mt Pisgah Trinity United Methodist Church, 5615 Mt Pisgah Rd, York, PA 17406

Event format:

• We will have three categories - Men’s single, Women’s single and Mixed Doubles • First one hour, from 2PM To 3PM is for registration and practice

• Matches will start from 3PM onward

• We have two courts at the venue, and depending on number of entries, it might take about 3-4 hours to conclude the event. You may kindly plan your day accordingly.

• We will have 3 or more rounds for each category as required o First round is knock-out elimination consisting of one game o Quarters will again be knock-out consisting of one game o Semi’s will be of best of one game o Finals will be best of three games
